FLORA in ITALIA in Puglia

With Lucy the Flower Hunter

JUNE 2025

PUGLIA was all we dreamed and more…

Rustic stone walls, shady olive groves, azure sea, and every day the sun beating down from a perfect blue sky.

The palazzi we stayed in with their secret gardens, hidden behind a huge wooden door in a wall in the undiscovered town of Muro Leccese, were our elegant designer haven.

Mark and Sandra cooked up a storm of divine Italian recipes- and this time we also had a fun pasta making session with a local Nonna!

A gorgeous group of lovely and talented women from NZ, Australia, Wales, England, Scotland and Texas joined us- and we all had a blast! We loved visiting the trulli in Alberobello, the gardens of Giardini Pistola and drinking bubbles at Borgo Egnazia, one of the Leading Hotels of the World.

And best of all- the loveliest flowers were grown for us by Silvia from I Giardini di Mafalda …. a flower farm 7 hours north of Puglia, so a very long drive for her and the flowers that we much appreciated! Beautiful ribbons were hand dyed, stunning bouquets created and then modelled by Zoe Mcintosh.

Lucy the Flower Hunter wowed us again with her URN demo- and then our collection of antique pottery urns were filled to overflowing…

And the Final Feast was something special- beautifully styled by Zoe and the team, menus from Paper Darlings, to die for food and cocktails, and then we danced under the stars…. Puglia you rocked!!
