SUMMER MEADOWS

Workshops 2025

With Lucy the Flower Hunter

In the middle of summer on Waiheke Island we welcomed LUCY THE FLOWER HUNTER back- and hosted 2 lovely workshops for guests from all over New Zealand.

Our inspiration was “SUMMER MEADOWS”…. and so we filled the workroom with meadow inspired arrangements- grasses and wildflowers gathered from fields- and beautiful locally grown blooms from local flower farms…

Lucy inspired us with her wild and beautiful garden URN arrangements- and we all created meadow arrangements in hand made JARDINIERES created by potter JANE BURN…. who also gave us a fun pottery lesson in making very cute tiny jug bud vases…

Vicki and Lucy both demonstrated how to create MEADOW INSPIRED BOUQUETS- which everyone got to make- and which were then modelled by our lovely Zoe Macintosh.

We constructed foraged meadow and hanging installations for our FINAL FEAST- an abundance of summer platters created by Mark and Sandra… which we enjoyed with wine and great conversations, also feasting our eyes on that lovely view of Woodside Bay
